Astrocartography
Key Term ยท Place and the planets
Astrocartography maps the sky onto the Earth, and asks whether the place you live is written into your chart.
What it means
Astrocartography, often shortened to astro-locality, plots where each planet was rising, culminating, setting, or anti-culminating at your birth as lines crossing the globe. Locational astrology then reads life near those lines. A Jupiter line tends toward expansion and opportunity, a Saturn line toward discipline and hard-won structure, and a Moon line toward belonging.
In your chart
Your astrocartography map is built from your natal chart, so no two people share it exactly. Places on your lines are not commands. They are themes that tend to intensify wherever you stand under them.
